    Marinate chicken in yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, and 1 tsp salt for at least 1 hour (overnight ideal).

    Broil or grill marinated chicken until slightly charred. Set aside.

    In a heavy pot, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion 8 min until golden. Add garlic and ginger; cook 2 min.

    Add chili powder and remaining garam masala; toast 1 min. Add crushed tomatoes, simmer 15 min.

    Stir in cream and charred chicken. Simmer 10 min. Serve with garlic naan and basmati rice.
