    Knead briefly. Pinch off pieces and roll into 4-inch finger shapes, slightly tapered at the ends.

    Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pot.

    Fry festivals 3–4 min, turning occasionally, until golden brown all over.

    Drain on paper towels. Serve warm alongside jerk chicken, fried fish, or curry goat.
