2 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder

2 tbsp hot water (not boiling)

1 cup oat milk or milk of choice

1 tsp honey or sweetener

Ice cubes

Sift matcha powder into a small bowl to remove clumps.

Add hot water and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or fork until frothy and lump-free.

Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in cold milk.

Add sweetener to the matcha paste, stir, then pour over the iced milk.

Stir gently — the green matcha swirling into white milk is the best part.
