    Cook linguine in heavily salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

    Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat; sear shrimp 1 min per side until pink. Remove.

    Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; sauté 2 min until golden. Add red pepper flakes and white wine; simmer 2 min.

    Add lemon juice and pasta water. Toss in drained linguine and shrimp; cook 1 min until sauce coats pasta.

    Remove from heat, stir in parsley, and serve immediately with crusty bread.
