    Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Cool, then squeeze out all excess moisture.

    Mix cooked spinach with feta, ricotta, eggs, dill, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

    Brush a baking dish with oil. Layer 6 phyllo sheets, brushing each with oil.

    Spread filling evenly. Layer remaining 6 sheets on top, brushing each with oil. Score the top layers into portions.

    Bake at 375°F for 35–40 min until golden brown. Rest 10 min before serving.
